I take to heart Margaret Mead's belief that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. I want to make a difference for animals through the power of words and photos - to demonstrate the strength of the human-animal bond, raise awareness about the issues affecting animals and help to create a more compassionate world for all creatures, both human and non-human.

I don't live in California, but I did vote today! Happy Election Day!
Yay for Prop 2 passing!! :) What a great election overall. Of course, the gay marriage bans passed in AZ and CA, but what do you want, poifect? :)
